Ignacio Coloma Garrido
Background
Ignacio has practised law since 1981. Throughout his career, he has been involved in more than 1,500 civil, commercial, contentious-administrative, criminal, and labour proceedings in Spain, Switzerland, and France, as well as in multiple commercial and corporate operations of all kinds.
He has specialised in civil and commercial law for more than 25 years, having extensive experience in agency, distribution, and franchise contracts as well as mergers and acquisitions, corporate law, insurance, and civil and commercial procurement in general.
For seven years, Ignacio combined legal practice with work in the business sector, holding representative positions (Administrator, Board Director, and CEO) in various companies related to advertising and real estate.
He has been the Secretary General of the Court of Arbitration of the Madrid Bar Association since May 1992. He is currently the Ombudsman and head of the ‘Whistleblowing Hotline’ at KPMG Spain, and since October 2018, he has been the Recording Secretary and legal adviser of Nueva Mutua Sanitaria del Servicio Médico.
